John Yukich
Co-Owner & Chief Operating Officer
As Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer for TrueWealth Advising Group, John Yukich leads the operations team, which provides the environment and framework that enables advisors to succeed. His responsibilities encompass support for advisors, management of information technology, strategic business planning (both short and long-term), business valuations, and overseeing the daily operations of the firm. John works in conjunction with vendors, our broker-dealer, and home office personnel to ensure that financial professionals receive the essential support required to deliver a variety of insurance and investment products to their clients.
John is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and brings over 30 years of small business management and ownership experience to TrueWealth. He began his career by taking over a family business in need of a turnaround immediately after college. For 11 years, he worked in the graphic arts industry, providing engineering, rebuilding, and relocation solutions for large newspaper and commercial printing presses, serving clients such as Gannett and The Federal Aviation Administration, among others.
Subsequently, John partnered with a disaster restoration company, working there for six years and leading efforts to grow the firm by opening a branch location and overhauling operational procedures and training programs. His most recent endeavor is TrueWealth Advising Group. Over the years, John has developed extensive experience in planning and managing cross-functional business operations and complex projects. He understands the challenges faced by small business owners and offers valuable insights and practical experience to help entrepreneurs achieve their business and financial goals.
John was raised in Munster and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from The Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1994. He currently resides in Crown Point with his wife, Carey, their daughter, Samantha, and their English Bulldog, Bozley. Their eldest daughter, Jessica, resides in Indianapolis. John is a dedicated golfer, wine connoisseur, and an avid supporter of Chicago sports teams.
